EDUCATION BACKGROUND
Lydiah Oludo holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree (Hons) from Moi University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law.
She is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, admitted on the 31st day of March, 2016 and is also a member of Mombasa Law Society. She currently serves in the Environment, Land and Conveyancing Committee in the Society and is also the secretary to the committee. Lydiah believes in hard work and service to her clients. Above all she seeks to protect clients’ interests at all times.
EXPERIENCE
Lydiah Oludo is an Associate in the law firm’s Real Estate, Banking & Finance, Commercial and Business Law and Corporate Law, Trusts and Charities Department at the Mombasa Office.
She handles a large variety of matters, including Undertaking due diligence with respect to perfection of security instruments for various clients, negotiating and drafting commercial contracts and handling matters pertaining to companies generally.
She is also engaged in property law matters involving all aspects of land and property and advising clients generally on all aspects of land and property law, negotiating and drafting agreements in all aspects relating to the conveyancing of properties, preparation and perusal of both commercial and residential leases whether long term or short term leases, advising on development projects whether relating to apartments, town Houses, maisonettes or office suites, and drafting and advising on the ancillary agreements and documents.
Lydiah is also involved in obtaining approvals/consents and clearances from the relevant authorities in respect of conveyancing transactions, advising on the exemption of stamp duty and tax benefits on property transactions where applicable and undertaking registration of security documents such as leases, sub-leases, transfers, assignments and conveyances at the various Government registries.
