EDUCATION BACKGROUND

Betty is the team leader in charge of the firm’s Nyali – Mombasa Branch. She holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from University of Nairobi and a Post Graduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law. She is also a Certified Mediator, a member of the Law Society of Kenya and currently pursuing the Certified Secretary (CS) course with KASNEB.

EXPERIENCE

Before joining the Firm, Betty worked with the firm of Kairu Mbuthia Law LLP as the head of Litigation. She has acquired great expertise Civil and Commercial litigation in the Court of Appeal, High Court, Employment and Labor Court, Magistrates’ courts, Business Premises Rent Tribunal and quasi-judicial bodies with a bias in: –

• land matters,
• debt recovery and security enforcement,
• labour/ employment disputes,
• public law,
• banking and commercial disputes,
• insurance and personal injury claims,
• mediation,
• family and succession.
