EDUCATION BACKGROUND
Caroline was admitted to the Bar in 2009. She obtained her LLB Degree from the University of Nairobi and a Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. She is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya of over 9 years, a Commissioner for Oaths and Notary Public. She also has a Masters in Business Administration (for Executives) from the Strathmore Business School (Dissertation: Assessing effect of client relationship management on business development of law firms: A case of Nairobi County). She is currently pursuing the Certified Secretary (CS) course with KASNEB.
EXPERIENCE
Since admission to the bar, she has previously worked with the firms of Iseme Kamau and Maema Advocates as well as Sichangi Partners Advocates and Mamicha & Co. Advocates whereby she gained substantive legal experience and exposure.
As an advocate she has competence in matters concerning Securitization processes, Conveyancing and matters concerning Real Estate which involves change of user, leases and licenses over land. She also has competence in advising on corporate restructuring, and also disposals and acquisitions. She has a keen interest in Capital Markets, more specifically Real Estates Investment Trusts, as well as Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Restructuring and Project Finance.
